Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey
Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side was an okay book. It was kind of a fun read, but the plot itself was kind of slow moving. The idea of it was kind of neat; a girl who was adopted from Romania lives in a small town with her hippie-type parents. One day a guy comes along claiming to be a vampire, and saying that they were betrothed. You cold imagine how well that went over. The book itself was not that long, but the story seemed to drag on at parts. I think that this book would have been better if there was more conflict between the characters, because as it was, the situations were a bit repetitive. Even though it was simple, and slow at parts, I did enjoy reading this book, and read it very quickly.
