Kiss by Jacqueline Wilson
In the book Kiss by Jacqueline Wilson, Sylvie is sure she and her best friend Carl will be married one day. They've been friends ever since they were babies. Carl and Sylvie start high school at two different schools so Sylvie has to try extra hard to see him. That's when she finds that Carl is not as interested in her as he is in his friend named Paul. While coping with the fact that Carl is gay, Sylvie starts to understand herself a little more.
I thought that this was a very good book. I thought it was cool to see what life in England is like. Jacqueline Wilson is a great writer with a great vocabulary. Can't wait to read more from her.
