Molly the Pony: A True Story by Pam Kaster
Molly the Pony: A True Story by Pam Kaster is about a pony named Molly. She was rescued during Hurricane Katrina. During the storm she got trapped in a barn all alone and no one cared for her for two weeks. Soon after she was rescued a big dog bit her leg and she fell. The vets had to cut open her leg to try to fix it. She was then brought to a children's hospital and the children loved her so much and were amazed by her story and how she healed.
My little sister found this story to be sad but very good. Out of 5 stars she gave it a 5. She said she would recommend this to her friends because it was a "cute" story.
