Father of Lies by Ann Turner
Father of Lies was an enjoyable book to me and I would rate it 10 out of 10. Father of Lies took place in Salem village at the time the witch trials were first starting, and the trials have always been a topic that has interested me. Ann Turner did a great job creating the fictional main character of Lidda Johnson and her family and putting them in with the real life characters. I am very happy with this book and I love the way Ann Turner writes and how she makes you feel as though you are actually there. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to know more about the trials but does not want to read a huge book with not so kid-friendly writing.
