Queen of Hearts by Martha Brooks
In the book Queen of Hearts by Martha Brooks the main character, Marie-Claire, contracts TB. This book is about her internal and external struggles through the extent of treatment. Marie-Claire has struggles with herself and with her family. But she also has the struggle of fighting TB and accepting it too.
I recommend this book to teens who like a quick read. It is a good book with the ups and downs of life clearly portrayed. Just an overall good book.
