Just One Wish by Janette Rallison
Just One Wish was a really good book. I enjoyed it a lot. The main character is a senior in high school, and her little brother has a cancerous brain tumor. It is near Christmas, and her brother was going to have to go into surgery soon so that they could try to get the tumor removed. Annika has heard of situations where the patients think that something is going to work, so it does. She believes that if she can make her brother believe that wishes really do come true, that his surgery will go well. When her brother wishes to meet Teen Robin Hood from his favorite TV show, Annika is put in quite the situation. She ends up driving a few hours to California to find the said star. This story takes place in the time span of a week, and is all about Annika getting to Steve (Teen Robin Hood) and convincing him to come and see her little brother. Although it deals with the serious topic of cancer, this is really a very funny book, and I enjoyed it a lot.

Just One Wish is about a young girl, Annika, who has her heart set on making her little brother's wish come true. He is only six but he has a brain tumor and will have to undergo a very risky operation to try and remove the tumor. Annika wants to get the star of the TV show Teen Robin Hood to come and visit and she sneaks off to Hollywood to try to convince him to come back with her.
This was a really good book, as it had many twists that you didn't expect. It was also really funny to read about the crazy things that she does to try and get the actor to come back with her. There are some amusing parts involving animals and actresses falling into ponds. It was a great book that I would suggest to anyone.
