Mockingbird is a sweet, sad, and happy story at the same time. The main character, Caitlin, has Asperger's Syndrome and she has just lost her brother. Devon was killed in a school shooting and her and her father struggle to find closure throughout the whole story for themselves and the rest of the community. Caitlin discovers an entire new world throughout this emotional journey. This book is a wonderfully retold story about an actual shooting that happened in the author's backyard. 5 stars. Must read.
