Life is But a Dream by Brian James
In the novel Life is But a Dream by Brian James the main character, Sabrina, has an interesting view of life. Sabrina sees the world in colors and glows. It looks to her like a Picasso painting all the time. She ends up being put in a mental hospital because of her view and fear of the static. The static is the evil that lives within every human. When in the hospital, she meets a boy named Alec who doesn't see but believes what she says. The two run away and plan to go together and be together forever.
I would recommend this book to anyone 13 - 17. The book is very entertaining and mysterious. It has lots of twists and turns and is just fun to read.
