The Witches by Roald Dahl read by Miranda Richardson
The book The Witches is both descriptive and suspenseful, especially when the reader reads it. The reader is Miranda Richardson. The story is about a boy who gets to hear and meet a witch and turns into a - well, I wouldn't want to spoil it. But, the little boy and grand-mama are trying to destroy all the witches in England, including the grand high witch of all the witches in the world. Can they do it?
Personally, I think it is better to follow along with the CD of Witches than to read the book yourself. I really liked that Miranda Richardson had a different voice for each character. This is a wonderful story and the narrator adds to it. I would recommend it for everyone.
